Our Mission

When most people think about the effects of starvation, one may picture a malnourished child in a third-world country, or they may picture a long line of homeless people waiting outside an inner-city soup kitchen for what may be their only meal of the day.

The truth is, hunger and homelessness are HUGE problems everywhere in the United States, but it may not always be easy to see. In a country known for its wealth and prosperity, the face of hunger and homelessness has changed as millions of Americans often struggle to find their next meal for themselves or their families.

Harvest of Hope Foundation is a Georgia-based organization that desires to help provide homeless veterans with temporary housing, food, clothing, medical help, and financial assistance when needed. We also hope to collaborate with other organizations, helping veterans in their job search and equipping them with basic technical skills needed to become a productive citizen in society. Even though our aim is in providing assistance for veterans, we also hope to provide for as many of those in need as we can.

SERVICES

HOUSING

Often it is difficult for veterans to find housing or to pay rent. When they are in need of emergency housing or could use help with late rent, the Harvest of Hope Charity Foundation may financially assist veterans to help secure safe housing for themselves and their families.

TRANSPORTATION

If a veteran experiences problems with their only form of transportation, the Harvest of Hope Charity Foundation will help in paying for repairs or providing alternative transportation means when applicable.

MEDICAL

Many veterans cannot afford to pay for medical services and bills. However, with the help of the foundation, many of the families will be able to afford most medical services.

EDUCATION

Many veteran children are in need of aid to fund their education; the Harvest of Hope Charity Foundation raises money to assist veteran students in their educational endeavors, as well as provide financial resources.
